ABOUT THE PLATFORM
Why We Built This
A simple idea born from one question:
Where do I begin?
OUR STORY
A platform built from the feeling of searching for a place to trust.
We Are Venezuelans was born from a simple realization. When I wanted to help Venezuela, I found myself opening dozens of tabs. Organizations, volunteer initiatives, community groups, translation networks, shelters, animal rescue efforts, donation campaigns and local resources all existed, but the information was scattered across websites, social media and messaging groups. I wasn’t looking for another donation platform. I was looking for one place I could trust. So I decided to build it.
OUR MISSION
Our Mission
We Are Venezuelans is a bilingual platform created to connect people with trusted information, meaningful resources and authentic stories about Venezuela and its people. We do not collect donations. We do not represent organizations. We do not tell people where they should contribute. Our role is different. We organize information, provide context and connect people with the organizations, initiatives and resources already making a difference. Every resource published on this platform is reviewed using official and publicly available sources before being shared.
OUR VISION
A living portrait of who Venezuelans are.
Beyond response, toward memory, identity and everyday people.

EVERYDAY PEOPLE
The stories that hold a country together.
While the platform begins by helping people find reliable ways to support Venezuela during times of need, our long-term vision goes far beyond humanitarian response. We hope to become a living portrait of who Venezuelans are. Not through politics. Not through headlines. But through everyday people. The teacher who inspires a community. The volunteer who gives up weekends to help others. The entrepreneur creating opportunities. The grandmother preserving traditions. The student with a dream. The family rebuilding after difficult times. These are the stories that define us. Because understanding a country is not only about understanding its challenges. It is about understanding its people.
